Series Creator Jim McTague is an author-preneur who conceived of Martin and Twyla Boundary after 40 years as a journalist working for major newspapers and magazines, including the prestigious Barron’s Business and Financial Weekly, where he was Washington Editor, a White House and Congressional correspondent, and a frequent guest on television and radio. He covered the White House from the presidency of Bill Clinton up to the first weeks of Donald Trump’s presidency. McTague was a member of the White House Correspondents’ Association and is currently an associate member of The Army & Navy Club, owing to his support of veterans. In 2011, he wrote an acclaimed book about the rigging of the stock market called "Crapshoot Investing : How Tech Savvy Traders and Clueless Regulators Turned the Stock Market into a Casino (FT Press) and he lectured about it before groups of investors and asset managers in the U.S. and in Iceland. McTague currently divides his time between Washington, D.C., and Lancaster, Pa. He is a regular on the acclaimed John Batchelor video and podcasts
